You can only do this a limited number of times, so make your switches count, and make do with whatever shape you end up with… Even if it is as ridiculous as a baby grand piano. There’s an art to doing this and it’ll take some time to master, but with enough practice, you’ll be able to use decoys to effectively throw Hunters off your trail.Ĭhanging Shape: If you don’t like your current Prop, or if you’ve been spotted and you need to make a quick getaway, you have the option to switch to another one. Place your decoys in areas that will throw off Hunters while you’re tucked away somewhere they can’t find. These are:ĭecoys: These are carbon copies of whichever Prop you happen to be.

Other than finding a phenomenal hiding space and waiting out the clock, Props have a few other tools at their disposal to fight back Hunters. Every 30 seconds, all surviving Props make a loud whistle noise that helps Hunters figure out where they are. However, since a Prop could fit into its surroundings, you should be able to find a nice inconspicuous spot to hide.Īs a Prop, you’ll get a short period of time to find your hiding spot before the Hunters are released. Although being a Prop is far better than being one of your inanimate peers, you can be destroyed if a Hunter finds and damages you, and every 30 seconds, you have the uncontrollable urge to whistle. What else can a weeb ask for.The first thing to know is that the mode is divided between two teams: Props and Hunters.īeing a Prop is as exactly as it sounds: You play as a random object specifically designed to fit into the surroundings of whichever map you’re spawned into. There is friendship, fluff, fights and fan service. All in all, HunterXHunter is a well balanced anime. They body slam you into loving them as well.

They aren't just powerful and mean, but have extremely intriguing personalities. What about bad guys, you ask? I would like to say special attention has been given by Togashi to put some life and spice into the antagonists/anti-heros in the series. Let's talk action! Being a shounen anime HunterXHunter has its own proud share of epic battles and power displays, it seriously gives you goosebumps. The main protagonists (Gon,Killua,Leorio and Kurapika) all have their own unique backgrounds and quirky personalities which is super fun to watch in itself but when you put them all in the same equation, their chemistry is just overwhelmingly adorable that it makes you wanna cry happy tears. The characters have been so beautifully written and mindfully built by Yoshihiro Togashi (Bless this man) that you can't help but trip and fall painfully in love with them.

No matter how many animes I watch, nothing compares to HunterXHunter.

HunterXHunter is definitely one of the best animes out there.
